That is an old test. The F150 Supercab was updated in 2016 with the same reinforcements behind the front wheels as the Supercrew.
Why are they testing small overlap only or did I miss something? Thought crash testing was about front / rear / side + rollover protection.
We all hope n pray it'll never happen to us but as we all know, shiat can happen in an instant. Looking at the offset crash test did make an impression which is why I made a point of looking closer at an F150. Very nice ride, just not the ride for me. Really wanted it to be the one as I know Bill would have made the purchase painless. Shorty drive in a GM put it a distant third, def out of the running.
Does anyone have a link to a crash test that actually crashes them several different ways?
well there goes my thoughts of getting a truck...
