I want to like this so bad but something about the proportions isnt mixing right for me.
I hear you. I was drooling when I saw the two door renders, but the four door doesn't quite do it for me.
yep, make it a 2-door pickup.

That looks damn cool. Get why they made the Gladiator a four door with the 4 door Wranglers outselling the 2 doors so badly, but the 2 doors look horny as hell.

I considered the conversion when I was shopping for a new truck. But it was too expensive ....and...well...it would have taken me 3 years to build.

Yeah the 2dr / Extend cab makes it look a whole lot better.
I feel like the 7600# tow rating is a bit modest
^Yeah but it looks stupid. Same as the newly proposed Bronco (overgrown Jeep Renegade)
They’re supposed to be offering the 3.0 ecodiesel as an option, not sure if it will happen, but if it does those can tow a lot. And actually, the 2.0 turbo with the mild hybrid will be good for towing as well.
Saw one in Michigan today

Looks similar to a Honda Ridgeline. Ok maybe not so much when I compare it more...:P

They both look like poop.
^yup, not feeling it.
Maybe it's just me. But I live in the north where it is legal to ride ATV, Side X Side and snowmobiles on the main street down town, so I thing this truck with roof off and doors removed could be the cats meow.
I say it is a win in the right place. I would do it.

Jeep Gladiator 2020 has just become my dream vehicle. Tell me if you get any update about discounts.
Pretty damm cool.
Saw one at the dealer the other day. In base form it looks boring.

^They look terrible, and they’re still like $50k. We had a stripper like that but in silver, we swapped out the wheels for some nice 19” black/machined wheels with mudders, it sold with a week. Jeep is way out to lunch on the pricing. People don’t want a smaller truck, they want a cheaper truck, don’t bring out a smaller one for the same or more than a Ram, then be surprised when it fails.
You would have different discounts in Florida than we would have in Canada.....but that one you posted looks cool.
This truck is beyond over priced. There are loaded Rubicons on the Trader for close to $70k
LOL... my first look at that picture made me think of the Liberty wheels.

They’re terribly plain wheels-I agree. Epic fail on Jeep’s part...to me they should have started with the Rubicon only, then brought out the strippers a few months later.
Funny thing, my dealer was told they had to order 30 vehicles to get a Gladiator early, we chose to take no vehicles and wait an extra 2 weeks.
Too many doors. Needs more box.
Seen a few of these running around now. Cool looking little rig. Still think it needs a single cab Comanche version.
So I looked up the price. :omg:
Similarly equipped to my truck would be $53k.
Give me modern this

Although I will add that the 4 doors have really grown on me
The more YouTube videos I watch the more I like
Just visited Peel Chrysler Jeep yesterday, they have a lifted Gladiator Rubicon in the showroom. If you need convincing go have a look.
saw one on the road today, looked good
They have to be lifted with 35's to my eye to look good. Out of proportion otherwise.

Yeah, that looks wicked as hell. Still too many doors.
