Couple or three nice battles up front during the day but ya rest of it was snoozey.

Alloy wheels break when impacted. I am sure Nascar doesn't want a 200mph wheel going through the stands after a bump or brush with the wall. Once again they are showing their total disconnect from the fans with the elimination of 5 lugs and having pit stops actually factoring into the race. How hard is it to hit one giant nut vs 5, takes out more of the pit crew skills.
I like the new design. Looks modern. Bigger brakes is also a win.
Ford and GM need to start getting some usable technology out of their hundred million dollar investments. If this brings us cost effective one-lug wheels, that'd be awesome.
