After having put some good brake pads on the Mustang, I don't consider 250+150 all that bad.
Carbotech XP8's were 315+270.
That Audi is capable of some pretty high speeds.

carry on then :D
Same here - OEM brake pads (Volvo/Brembo) for the Volvo R were $240 (front) and $220 (rear) 1.5 years ago so will be higher now but I'm not cheaping out on brake, suspension parts or tires. If you're buying a car like that use the first line stuff. For planned maintenance items I buy my parts in the US which helps to take some of the sting off although the FX rate has reduced the savings somewhat. Brake parts are heavy though so a Niagara pick-up run would help if you combine with other purchases.
I hear you Don. Carbo Tech track pads for the Cobra came in at a hair over $800 this year.
XP 24 fronts / Brembo
XP 10 rears / Cobra
That's a lot of cake there Rick!! But not surprised when it come to track pads!!
Rears are aggressive street, fronts are a track only pad. They do a stellar job of slowin it up lap after lap though.
After chatting with BadBullit I started looking daily AGAIN....Who needs retirement savings anyways!
