Holly shit, hope they get you fixed up and pronto.
Thanks buddy.. You and me both.. Not sure if we'll even be able to stay here tonight, but I'll find out more when they show up..... So I'll just have a beer and wait...
The line to the stove was leaking. So we need to get that replaced, and while the guy was here he noticed out gas line running through the vents which is a no no. So we also need a pipe fitter to come and replace that now too.. Wow talk about welcome home!!
Oh man BB I'm glad nothing serious happened.
Hate gas ! ... work with it day in day out
Was prolly more noticeable to ya because u left the house closed up for a couple of days .
Home inspectors don't know gas according to the inspector who came here.. Cause that's what I asked him as well. Also I just have my furnace replaced as well and no one noticed that either? Again the inspector said not that guys job to point things out..
Made me feel all warm and fuzzy...not!!
A lot of gas guys won't mention things like the line threw the vent. Because it usually leads to the home owner being pissed off at you for pointing out something that's going to cost them more money to fix. And usually didn't have anything to do with why they are there in the first place.
If a guy is here to work on the furnace and says I have to bring your gas lines up to code and it's going to cost you more money. The home owner looks at it as a cash grab. In my experience people get pretty angry. Even though it's not in your control. And it's your licence if something happens in the future.
Bottoming out the k frame and exhaust clamps on a manhole cover makes a pretty cool sparks show.
oooh yeah....walking funny today
