When ya put it like that ... ya I think a few repairs on my F will suffice vs more debt
I think I'll buy myself a new toque that should be right around my budget
South Side Burger Co.: decent burger, but fries can't hold a flame to Big Boys.
Went there for lunch while my tire got patched at Joy City.
That sux about a flat, especially yesterday in the snow n wind.
Scott get you fixed up?
Yep.
But I don't think he's used to the customer already having the wheel off and the puncture marked. ;)
I was trying to remember the last time I had a flat. Now I remember: had a flat with the F150, took the tire to Green&Ross. Same deal: I brought them the tire, just wanted it patched. They insisted on putting it back on the truck for me. Fine.
Come spring, I go to put my summer tires on, and sure enough I can't get that one off. They must of had the impact wrench set on 'ludicrous'.
All too common an occurance Don, no one heard of a torque wrench?
Same for filters on way too tight.
I've done every oil change on my new mustang. Put the filter on hand tight. Usually takes two hands to take off. So far so good. I've done it 5 times now. Twice on the focus too.
Lmao she did tell me I was on the gas too hard and just spinning. Which is true. I have the MPH for mid 12's but only got a 13. I spun 3rd sometimes and even chirped 4. The tires are garbage but I could have controlled the throttle a little better.
I'll be on some nice Nittos next year or V12's. Might have lower control arms and relocation brackets as well. Also gonna ease out a little better. Should be nice seeing something in the 12's next year.
^ Getting a turbo kit are ya??
Unfortunately no.
12's still pretty awesome Ray
You'll get 12's easily if you can get that beast to bite the track!!! Nitto's will help with that 4 sure!!!
Ended up going to Shanahan today , saw some Fundra F150's , not liking them , the 14Fx looks awesome next to the 15's , a couple of 15coupes , ehhh ok , the 14 GtCs vert look better lol
Any I walked out with...........
Sw-7193 hope I guessed right
I was fkn wrong lol ...
^^ my son texted me some pricing he saw at a Ford dealer today. XLT $54 F150 platinum $74
Quick glance I saw $59k on an XLT , if I was in on a new I'd jump on the black 14 fx4 I saw ;)
but I'm not
At the dealer when buddy ordered his new Camaro, '14 dr, 4x4 SLE caught my eye in burgandy. Quick glance at the price reminded me of how much I like the truck I've got..........STICKER SHOCK BABY!!!
Good one Ray
I think my brain reached a tipping point. I'm now looking at most cars as an appliance, aside from the Mustang. Of course the fox is a unicorn, since it's the greatest car on the planet. But now any "normal" "econo box" car is a point A to B appliance to me.
I'd bet money it tows a 5.0 around the road course................I got two browns that say it happens, you game?
Nope, I aint touching that one. Last thing I need is to put my car into the wall trying to prove something lmao. Isn't the 1LE a ZL1 minus the blower?
I asked our owner last night how his Fiat was .. he was nice enough to offer me some coaching at one of his track days lol

It's basically GM's track pack.
