Definitely having one of those "sick of spending money on this fucking car/house" mornings and ready to sell everything I own.
Should I join a trade? I love electrical but that will take too long to get licensed. Thinking HVAC or electrician. The problem is the time it takes to become licensed including the apprentice. I can afford a pay cut but not for 5 years lol
I'm also having a "F it"... sell everything and just live simply, no cars, smaller house...
I Definitely want to sell my car and grab a 2021 mach 1

I decided to drive mine to family event Sunday. Ended up taking a huge rock chip to the windshield in the process. Couple that with the clunk from the front end I gotta fix and the transmission continuing to be hard to get in to 1st/2nd its just my brain not wanting to deal with all three things simultaneously along with the rest of my garbage life.
If there's ever a graffiti museum, I will break in, sand, primer and gloss paint over everything lol
With whats going on in the world right now piled on top of things we have to deal with in everyday life, easy to feel overwhelmed.
It's a shit show out there... just got to stay away from news and conspiracy theorists.
I want to move to Alaska and just be done with society.
Finished paint and cleanup on my younger sons room after taking out all the panelling. Looks so much better. Just a few bits of trim left but they are coming home from the cottage tomorrow so that'll wait until they go back next week.
E85 fuel coming to the gas pumps in Ontario very soon.
For those that don't know E85 is fuel that is made from corn and burns cold in your engine, that means more timing. Running E85 during a hot August day your motor will think it's October so your ET's won't drop off as much during those very hot summer days.
Your local speed shop and mechanic (I'm sure this applies to many other businesses as well).
They want and need your business and no they aren't blowing you off on either supplying parts or services. Parts that would normally be available right down the street simply aren't on any shelf anywhere right now. In many cases a mfg makes the bulk of their product in house but a supplier to them for say hardware or a one of part is either shut down or sitting waiting for a long since overdue order to come in. As such, those selling / installing parts look like the bad guy when they tell you it's going to be a long wait. Perhaps the business your in is running normally, be thankful because many are upside down right now scrambling to look after you the very best they can.
Got an immediate pm asking if it's just performance related parts, I wish. Two weeks ago, not an outter wheel bearing to be had for a 2500 Chev van. Day before it was no one had rebuilt calipers for a 99 up Mustang. Fortunately we deal with a local small rebuilder. While thanking him for fixing us up within a couple of hours, said he has no idea how long he'll be open as bulk of the rebuilding parts (mainly rubber seals) come from offshore, hasn't seen a shipment since early in the year. Premium brake pads we use on daily drivers, last two jobs, had to settle for what was available vs what we want. Performance parts, still waiting on a pile of stuff from MM for Ross's car, wheel spacers for my own, no idea how long, are normally available locally same day.
Just to add to Rick's post, if you're looking for parts and the store has it available grab it because it might not be available for a while. The manufacturers are running out of parts to sell and are very behind in building new ones. Then add the shipping speed at which everything is moving these days and it isn't fun, I know I'm getting tired of telling my customers "your parts are on it's way".
Even the Lund Racing tunes are taking a bit longer because they are so backed up with tunes, hang in there everyone we're living in some of the craziest times ever.
I hear ya, Rick...While the Cobra was in the shop having the AC worked on, condenser came in but, the low pressure switch was nowhere to be had. Luckily, they were able to repair it.
^ Ross's MM stuff has been that long and then some with no firm date as of yet.
Kenne Bell supercharger kit for a 2v, still another two months out, ordered few weeks ago.
I see the shortage of parts every day. I was just following up on an order for some Teflon curtains. The vendor just got back to me to say that the delivery has been delayed by three weeks, as they cannot get the material (this is after the two weeks I have been waiting for delivery).
Yep. Lots on back order. New stuff and parts
Being very open with people on ordering that things are slow.
Dosnt stop them from yelling at my employees for stuff taking too long
^ LOL

I'd wrap it - I know but F's look best white and I might wrap that too...lol^^^
Weird seeing mostly empty stands at the NHRA US Nationals in Indy.
Anyone have a Kenne Bell on their 2 valve ?

I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone with one that has anything bad to say about KB's kit except wishing they'd installed it sooner. All the ones we are a part of, bolted onto otherwise stock engines with excellent results. Intercooled you'd expect to see approx 400/400 at the rear wheels with a steep torque curve starting a tic over 2000rpm. Early hard hitting TQ is what makes it feel like your engine grew itself a whole bunch of cubic inches of displacement.
Like many vendors, KB is a bit slow to fill orders right now due to small part supplier slow down.
If the above is the kind of numbers / performance your looking for, it will not disappoint. Can say that with 100% confidence as we have three 2v guys on KB set ups now and another waiting on his kit to come in.When I had my 2000GT, was just as happy with it's Saleen M90 set up which made similar numbers. You'd be hard pressed to take the smile off the face of guys here on the board running an M90 on 05 up 3V's.
