That mach 1.... mmmmmmm man I love those.
Had a great day...Worked on the ATV and got it riding smooth! Then helped my son work on his "project" car. Since he isn't working this summer, he decided to buy himself a $250 2004 Impala. He always liked the full size chevs especially when they are blue. Car is in pretty good shape a with just a little surface rust. Hopefully we can do the same tomorrow.
I started to add some sound to my notch... picked up used and cheap 12" sub with amp. But I wired everything for a 5 channel amp, better speakers and head unit which will happen for next season. It currently sounds bad but it's better than nothing.
I had an 04 Impala and other than my Genesis is has been my favorite full sized daily driver. Tons of space, handles decently and gets pretty good millage.
Mine had leather and front bucket seats. The rear seats would fold down and make the already huge trunk just immense.
Swapped the dome lights in Mustang over to LED and popped some resistors in the tails to stop the hyperblink. Fully addicted to lighting mods now, thinking I'm gonna attempt a front projector retrofit.

Actually had the day off today, so I woke up early and hogged the bay to my self for 2 hours detailing every little crevasse of this bad boy. Wash and waxed. Wanted to treat the soft top but lost my nerve. Never did it before.

Looks good, no need to be scared on top maintenance just follow the directions and you'll be golden.
its been awhile since I've been into detailing. so I don't want to say for sure. if I recall correctly its more you don't want to apply the product to a dry top.
I'm sure someone more up to date will chime in or if you concerned about causing damage I'm pretty sure a member or sponsor here owns a detail shop.
Anyone know where I can buy Brembo rotors in the GTA for a Volvo? Partsource doesn't sell the 330mm Brembo rotors for my car, only smaller ones.
This place is local to me and is a Volvo guy... https://www.google.ca/maps/place/JTC...!4d-80.1056089
If he can't help, he might be able to direct you to someone that can.
Thanks! I'll call tomorrow - I was surprised PS didn't know the difference.
I used 303 fabric guard on mine, top needs to be clean and dry, pic is of the instructionshttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c541c97d64.jpg

RaggTop cleaner and protectant gets my vote. Very easy to use.

I watched a youtube video and then followed directions. Washed the car and then washed the ragtop with the low foam soap and sponge in the kit. and rinsed completely. I then sprayed the top evenly with the protectant and let dry. There are other fine products out there like Ragtop that do the same job. I used AutoGlyn because I like all their products and it was easy to source in Covid times from CT
Subtle change but I think I like it. New Bulbs come in today so I can make sure the cutoff and pattern look good.
Great improvement! Could you send me some info on the projector kit you used? May be something I do over the winter
Well, popped the bulbs in on lunch, like how the cut off looks in the dark garage (likely going to want to do my fogs now), will get more pics tonight once I button up the otherside. Would a how to thread be of any use to anyone?
Everything would go better. Hopefully.
Will do. Gotta figure out how to host some photos, don't think attaching will work as well for explaining.
Not to be a killjoy but any HID retro fit is illegal. Now you can be one of those guys that completely blinds everyone you meet.
BTW nice job. It looks pretty good.
Probably correct however I feel that mine aimed down in projectors at the correct height don't pose a threat or danger to other motoring public. If need be I'll swap from HID bulbs to LED should a problem arise.
