Carpel Tunnel? suks when what we do takes that type of a toll on us

Sorry to hear what your going through.
On a lighter note, congrats to Ross yesterday, well done Mr.
Not carpal tunnel. Something else. He told me what it was but it was too long to remember. When I sleep my thumb becomes very limited in range of motion. I can force it and it makes a large click, Like the joint is squared off. Thats the outer knuckle on my thumb. It's painful to force it. After being up for a while it is normal again. The joint at my palm is painful. If I don't use it for a while it locks again. It is a progressive type thing and will continue to get worse. He said I was lucky to get in quickly (2 weeks) or it would be much harder to treat and would be much worse. I'm having it treated by a certified chiropractor who is also a sports therapist. He treats the Ottawa Redblacks. This literally happened overnight. I went to bed one evening and it was messed up the next day. Dr. told me that this type of injury is like a bucket filling up. Once its full its nearly instant. I'm still looking at options. Australian trucks have the splitter on the other side of the shift knob. Automatic trans swap is looking to be 30-40k. New truck is 200-250k and not going to happen. Career change is still an option but I'm 58 and always been self employed.
Next appt tmrw. Biggest question I have to ask is can I snowmobile.
SPRING WILL OFFICIALLY ARRIVE IN 38 DAYS!!!!
the drivers seem to like them once they try realize how much more comfortable they are to drive especially in traffic - their only complaints are backing into docks, they tend to lunge and not as smooth (your case may be different) and getting stuck in snow - The new trucks here are all auto and the tranny has a separate computer (not sure what tranny is in them) They have a lot of trouble in the snow cant bring up the R's or do much to get unstuck and sometimes early issues with clutches among other things - the wife drives a big school bus with the auto and she likes it - you have some tough decisions I feel for you - same age and I too have issues with hands and other joints - I will probably never get a car with paddle shifters...lol maybe time for a new truck with the emission standards are going to get tough on older equipment...

So I learned something last weekend about the S550...
Don't pull your battery out for the Winter and expect to still be able to open either one of the car doors!!!!!!! FUCK!!!!
New black and blue Ontario plates don't look so great to me in person.
My dad and I are looking at an 84 cutlass supreme as a small project to finish building. Is emissions equipment required for safety? Has a sbc 350 Chevy to go in so just wondering if we need to source smog stuff.
I believe the rule is. If it had it, it needs it.
Ie. if it had cats from the factory it needs cats for a safety.
Also check the rear frame rails, were well known to rot. Check it good for rot and poor repairs.
G-bodys, my first love.
I'm going to need to see pictures of this project.
Just because you have a title like, President, VP, PHD, MBA, etc., doesn't mean you're smarter than other people with simple common sense! WTF is the world coming to??? I'm just about ready to sell all my crap and move to a small home on a little island in the middle of the ocean! Happy MONDAY!!!
Actually the issue I was having was the window... I left the doors unlocked for the winter but forgot that when you open the door the window drops down 1/2" (which I knew) however if it doesn't drop down that little bit it hits the door frame at the top and that part I did NOT know, so I had to connect the battery for the window to drop down enough to clear that little trim piece
6 more weeks!!!!!

I don't have much experience with them. just remember horror stories from my body shop days. they were not that hard to repair with proper patch panels but heard about a lot of people just filing them with foam. and other stuff to sell them quick

This guy speaks what everyone feels about our chicken $hit government
To be 100% legit on the road, it's suppose to have all of the emissions equipment it original came with and all is suppose to be in working condition. We are however seeing those that run converters plus PCV and no open breathers breeze through roadside checks without so much as a mention of rest that is long since gone. The main peeps getting gobbled up, older rides with more modern engines installed with zero emissions equipment in place not realizing equipment required follows the engine used not yr of the ride. Again, make a clear effort to comply and powers to be are satisfied.
mod season has begun. too bad its the kitchen getting modded……...

Ill post up the before pictures when I get a chance. 100 year old brick house, kitchen is right out of the 70s with pink back splash tile. wood paneling and flat faced cupboards. its all lath and plaster behind the wood paneling.
When is demo day? And will you be supplying the beer?
edit: to be clear, I just want to break stuff, I have no interest in putting it back together.
Already looks way brighter even without the doors.Quote:
