Great choice
It's going to be a fun little notch. Built to handle and stop... now it will have decent power for the weight.

Really feel for Australia - the country is burning. Before Christmas average temps across the country was +40C. Millions of animals dead and the human count keeps climbing. This little guy died about a week later after this rescue.

Huge part of the country on fire with seemingly no end in sight.
Thanks everyone who donated to the iKettle this year. I've received all of the winners info. Please watch your mail for gift cards next week.
Apparently he doesn't believe in climate change, goes on vacation while the country is burning, and send "hope and prayers" but no additional resources/help to parts of the country under siege.....he's been cussed out a lot when visiting affected areas (after cutting his vacation short due to criticism).
You'd expect that from "The Spectator" - I guess those arsonists have caused the droughts and 42C temps across the country as well. They should arrest the firebugs and Australia's problem will be solved - yay! Maybe they can investigate why some people in Venice keep leaving their taps running and causing flooding.
lack of forestry control. massive fires are a large part of world history. for years in a lot of places forestry effort including clean up and controlled burns have helped stem these. the pull back of conservation in the name of saving th eenvoronment have left built up of dead fall and debris that leads to fire running out of control.
what ever the cause tragic world changing event
Yes in localized regions but 42C average across the country as well as the current fire map is not common.

OK the conspiracy theorists are out now - I got nothing for that. I'll let it go to avoid derailing thread any further.
Doesn't have to be common but it’s happened.
1850-1851: The "Black Thursday" fires of 6 February 1851 in Victoria, burnt the second largest area (approximately 5,000,000 hectares (12,000,000 acres)) in European-recorded history and killed more than one million sheep and thousands of cattle as well as taking the lives of 12 people
Was that due to man made climate change?
not even 15min into the show and already Climate change involved... it kills me how many people don't actually give it some thought and think logically even for a few minutes rather than jumping on bandwagons without a coherent thought...
it's like saying oh...
"it's been the hottest temperature in history" - well you can't prove that
"it's been the hottest temperature in recorded history" - well okay, perhaps, however: 'history' and 'recorded history' are not even on the same scale and mostly objective cause nobody cares to actually do any research themselves...
lol, I don't know where I'm going with this, just ranting...back to the show!!! LOL
The Globes... thought I'd watch to see what kinda Ass Gervais might be tonight, turns out, he's making a good one
Fuck people.....

Dog found in zipped suitcase at Toronto park appears to be in good health, animal services says
TORONTO -- A dog discovered inside a zipped suitcase by a group of joggers at an Etobicoke park this weekend is now in the care of Toronto Animal Services and appears to be in good health.
A post to the Facebook group Black Dog Rescue said the joggers were in Lambton Park, located in the area of Dundas Street West and Scarlett Road, on Saturday morning when they discovered a closed black suitcase appearing to move slightly.
“They could hear a dog inside,” the online post said. “They could tell the suitcase was thrown down the hill above where they found it.”
The group said 200-metre long “drag marks” were discovered leading up to where the suitcase was discovered.
“Thankfully the weather was warmer than normal or she could have frozen to death,” the post said.
On Monday morning, a spokesperson for the City of Toronto, Alex Burke, said the incident is being investigated by the Toronto Police Service.
“The dog was brought to Toronto Animal Services (TAS) by the finder and remains with TAS,” Burke said. “She appears to be in good health.”
Black Dog Rescue said the female Jack Russell mixed breed dog had been scanned for a microchip, but does not appear to have one. She does not have a collar or an identification tag.
The owner of the dog has not been located.
Toronto police confirmed they have received a report on this matter and an investigation is underway.
Anyone with further information is asked to contact investigators at 416-808-1100 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).

Scum of the earth.
Mother F@#$&/! I will throw him or her in a glad garbage bag. They are not worthy of a suitcase.
What a pos. Dunno how someone can do that to a helpless animal.
Speaking of that.. my poor min pin has mange. Started back in the summer.. it wasn’t bad. Vet did bloodwork, xrays.. pretty much everything and labeled it a skin condition. Tried the vets recommended shampoo, it did nothing. Then tried the spray.. again nothing. So I said fuck it and ordered the top rated amazon mange shampoo.. on his 4th bath and no signs of improvement. Poor lil guy looks horrible (bet he feels it to with all the scratching).
I’ll just go broke going back and forth to the vet. Don’t mind paying if the problem resolved but I feel like they just rape my wallet every time and do fuck all. Insane what a vet charges here in the GTA.
Sry to hear brother. Poor pup.[emoji53]

+1 on the above
Lots of sick people out there.
There would be less outrage if it was a baby in the suitcase.
And it's recognized as a stepping stone to child and other abuse.
That'll teach those little brats!Quote:
Two children, ages 12 and 13, were shot after throwing snowballs at passing cars in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, police said. The pair was hurling snowballs at passing cars with a group of children on Saturday evening, Milwaukee police said in a series of tweets. One of the snowballs struck a white Toyota, and the driver of the car shot at the children, police said.
Police found the 12-year-old girl and the 13-year-old boy minutes apart. Both of their injuries were non-life-threatening. Both children are being treated at a local hospital, police said.
Big km's on it but still a hell of a deal.

Ecodiesel is a such a gamble...
Not even two weeks in and 2020 is producing some major news headlines - from war to disease - personally I'm looking forward to watching the Ghosn vs Nissan/Japan unfold and wondering where his wife is hiding - has all the makings of a movie.
