Dragonfruit? How did that taste?
*where is the barf emoji?
edit: LOL, had to look up dragon fruit. Confused it with durian.
I just don't understand how you guys enjoy all those IPAs, way too hoppy for me. But then I'm perfectly content having a generic major market beer.
I've decided to stop buying any alcohol until I've made it through a bunch of my liquor cabinet. Last night was Dracula's flower, combination of fruit flavours and grain alcohol from a distillery near Elora. Pretty tasty. Tonight might be a scotch night, currently enjoying a bottle I picked up in Glasgow last fall.
Edit: looked it up, silver fox distillery near Arthur. Dracula's flower is a combination of lavender and blood orange.
A bit of a laggard in posting some of my recent trials.
Was out to Alberta, always drop by Big Tee's BBQ, ribs never disappoint, and they have Village Brewery on tap for the Blacksmith Ale.
Recent service call in North Oshawa drew me to the All or Nothing Brewery on Ritson Road, Very decent beer if you are out that way.Attachment 22470

I get it. I was the same way before too. Never really a fan of the hoppy IPAs until my sister brought me some Heady Topper from the Alchemist. As Richard said: the cloudier more citrusy IPAs aren’t really all that hoppy.
But that’s the way I was with beer before I didn’t even really like beer. It took me the right beer to actually enjoy it. Never liked Canadian, Blue, Coors, or Bud (still don’t). But when I tried Waterloo Dark on a brewery tour I was “wow! That I like!”.
I keep hearing people rave about stouts. I have yet to find my Rosetta Stone stout.
You need this stout Don...it’s delicious!!
