..and no Q is going to overrule his Coach with the game on the line, let alone a SB. Very few Quarterbacks have carte blanche for play calls, I think Peyton/Brees are the only ones active right now.
Also, Wilson has a radio in his helmet and he's getting information in regard to formations and shifts right up until he starts his cadence, last second changes can be radioed in.
That's why zero amount of this steamy order of shit is ending up on Wilson's plate.
Carroll spoke about it today and said his his plan for the last three downs was: try a Pass, then a Run, call a Time Out and then try a another Run on 4th down as the last play of the game.
He said his rationale was.. if that pass (that was picked) was dropped, it would've stopped the clock, then he would try a run and then use his Time Out if that didn't work and then he would have time to try one more run on 4th down.
Nothing wrong with that plan, except the 1st part LOL!
If I was calling that it, I would've went Lynch, then tried Wilson on a sneak and then on 4th, run Lynch again, even if there was a fumble, the ball would've probably ended up in the endzone with a chance to be recovered for the TD.
