Ok Monday morning Quarterbacks, calm down. Your hashtag Beastmode was only 1-5 this season from the 1. Of 109 passing plays from the 1 in the NFL, only 1 of them was picked off all season. yes, the one last night. Pass plays from the 1 are successful 61% of the time, run plays only 58% this season. The Pats overloaded the line and backfield with their bigs anticipating the run from Lynch. An incomplete pass would have stopped the clock saving the Seahawks from needing to use their last timeout. And being only 2nd down, if it was not successful, Lynch could have had his chance on the 3rd down. So if it wasn't for a great play from an undrafted rookie, the pass was a decent call.
I thought is was ridiculous, not sure where you found that synopsis, but it was from some tool that has never taken a snap or Coached any Football.
Pete Carroll's call was the worst offensive call in the history of the SB, period. As a Coach, with the game on the line, you keep it simple on the goal line, he didn't.
He's always been a risk taker, we saw it on the throw for the TD at the end of the 1st half, instead of the taking the FG. I thought that was fookin nuts too!
At the end of the game, he had three more downs left to gain 1 yard and at his disposal; Marshawn Lynch, the best RB in the League who is never brought down by one defender, it is like a friggin bomb goes off when he hits the hole, or Russell Wilson, who even at the QB position is a top ten rusher in the league.
If Carroll was hell bent to throw it, a fade to one of the seams in the endzone would've made a lot more sense, then what he called, but that call would've been stupid too!
Not keeping that ball on the ground was 100% Tard.
His legacy is screwed now, the NCAA Championship, Two NFC Championship games and 1 SB, are all out the window....he'll have a hard time Coaching now, Players think he's a fckin' idiot,
from the Pros all the way down to the PeeWees. LOL
Look for him and/or Lynch to leave Seattle.
