Problem is, it's always when the good for nothing drivers head out. Like they can drive on a sunny day sporting dry pavement either.
True enough, too stupid to realize they're the problem. Just couldn't believe it yesterday, trying to get out to a site and down one of the main arteries here I was behind 4 people with hazards on in their mid size SUV (Jeep Compass seems to be the official vehicle of "fuck I shouldn't have a license) crawling along white knuckle. I'm sure these same people will be harassing their dealers on Monday claiming "MY SUV IS BROKEN, IT ISN'T GOOD IN SNOW. Also anyone who is driving around in a lowered/modified shit box car on worn all seasons or summers right now, pull your fucking head out of your ass. Instead of putting 20" chrome on your Grand Am, buy some fucking snow tires and raise the thing back up.
New F150 doing good!
Friday driving south on Victoria, guy in Lexus stops in the middle of the street to talk to a pedestrian. Drove through the deep snow around him. In the rear view watch the pedestrian get in, car goes TWO driveways and turns in! You couldn't fuckin' wait to talk to the guy?
Edge is good in this crap too. Better with traction control off and “sport” mode... was a good year for new snow tires and a snowblower...
^Drove my brother in laws edge to work on Wednesday, what a friggin pile of crap in the snow! Fwd in a big car like that, the thing can barely get moving, let alone turn, traction control is more of a deterrent to getting traction than anything.
