So since we're on the subject I've wanted custom plated for a while, I've been told not to do your name (I'm assuming for security?) Any good reasons for this? Anyone have alternatives for plate ideas?

Dunno how it would really impact security. I mean in theory if you have your last name on your plates and you piss someone off they could look it up on social media and try to correlate the car to the account, but to me that's a stretch.
Got em... like em.

Plus if you piss someon off enough, they can get you name from you plate number anyways if they really wanted to...so I'm with Laffs, who cares kinda thing...it's like these guys that blur out their plate numbers when they post pics...they arn't blurring out they're plates when they drive around town so....lol
I think it just comes down too if you feel comfortable with what's on it.
All my cars have always been somewhat noticeable. So in my mind there's no added protection having a generic plate when the amended description would be "the asshat in the loud black mustang convertible thats low with chrome rims and custom plates that say..." vs. "the asshat in the loud black mustang convertible thats low with chrome rims"
Yes that looks very cool. Where did you get them from?

Anyone ever order from www.themustangshop.ca? Based out of Calgary and they have a decent selection of quality parts. Would be nice to not pay border fees. A MM steering shaft may be ordered if someone here can chime in.
