SIMCOE, Ont. — A woman caught doing more than 120 km/h in a 40-km/h zone was angry she was pulled over, so threw hot tea in the officer’s face, cops say.
Ontario Provincial Police said the woman was screaming down the rural residential road in Brant County, Ont., last Friday in the middle of the afternoon when an officer pulled her over.
That’s when she reached out of the window of her Monte Carlo and tossed her cup of tea in the officer’s face.
Veronica Ferguson, 48, of nearby Norfolk was charged with racing and assaulting a police officer.
