Many thanks to Scott at Can Alignment, car drives awesome. I waited two weeks for an appointment + drove over an hour in traffic to get there for 7pm then most of the way home in bumper to bumper on the 401 and don't regret a moment of it, yes he's that good.
He also did a great job setting up the alignment on the GT40 project we are working on.

thanks again
Rick n Ross.

he was much more convenient when he was next door to Steeda in Milton

but that dude knows how to set up a car

he set up my Stang when we did the suspension for the 2nd time (aka did it right the 2nd time)....I think we actually had the CC plates installed while the car was on his rack

I think he still does all the set up work for the guys at Legendary??

He did my corner weighting (which I've been bugging Rick to get done!! lol) and he knows plenty about setting up track cars for max performance; as well as what is acceptable and useful for street driving. Think he holds a production lap record at TMP in a RX7 or some such thing.
Good guy too; fun to talk with and has a lot more experience setting up suspensions than anyone except maybe dedicated race team techs.

Scott's very good at his craft. Like others, I've also driven way too far to have him setup my car, don't regret it at all.

So the car has an excellent feel on the road but the difference on the track was equally as substantial. Well worth the effort to get it done there.

Good to hear, he's not to far from me

I'll be setting up an appointment early in the spring to see him.

What's the average cost to have an alignment done there? And are they open Saturday?

I'd gladly make the trip if they do a better job than the last place I went.

Best to call and ask, not sure about Sat's.
Price, it's one of those get what you pay for kinda deals, I personally came away feeling I got exceptional value.

I don't mind paying a little more, as long as the job is done right. In the past I've had to take vehicles back to the shop because the "alignment guy" didn't centre the (steering) wheel, or it didn't seem like they did anything at all.

Wheel slightly off center does not necessarily mean alignment is off but do agree it should end up damm near dead straight.

True, but it smacks of laziness. Though driving my turd on the highway for any length of time is exhausting.

Drove me nuts when the 00 gt steering wheel was always misaligned even when bob fixed it, it still ended up turned moderately to the left regardless. I think you might remember that. I recall you being perplexed by it.

Anyways thank god the mach is more or less in the center. Will get alignment next spring as shes gonna get tucked

Sometimes it's not the actual alignment but a slide pull / drift caused by tires.

His pricing is VERY fair.

Is Bob no longer in business or did you guys just want to try somewhere new? Just curious.

Bob has pretty much retired, the shop does however have someone very capable manning the rack and yes he does a great job. Difference dealing with Scott, he knows the ins and outs of a high performance alignment. His tweaking of my own car, finishing touch on top of how well my newest combo of suspension parts work.
