My 2003 Mach 1 is a US vehicle. It's starting to annoy me since my odometer reading is in miles. Is there any cost effective way of switching the odometer reading to km instead of the miles that it is displaying?

How about changing the speedometer cluster?

I doubt that will work. It needs to be reprogrammed if I switch it (I think)

pretty sure I remember there is a way to change the set up
just googling a bit
copied and pasted from another site
Try this....
System check and vehicle feature customization
Press the SETUP button repeatedly
to cycle the message center through to the following feature:
UNITS
Displays the current units English or Metric.
Press RESET to change from English to Metric.
I think for the 99-04 cars you press and hold the odometre reset button and follow the prompts

I see no problem and thank you. I am already aware of this feature. It doesnt look like it allows me to permanently switch to km instead of miles for the odometer [emoji20]

I'm pretty sure you can change out the face alone or just take out the electronics and switch into a used KM cluster. Problem is, the Mach uses a Mach specific face, maybe a Bullitt one is the same? There's a place we used to deal with that was reasonable, either Ontario cluster, or Canada cluster, it was in London or Toronto.

Thanks, that sounds right, lol. I think either of those options would work.
