Are all the fuel level sending units the same, can I use a unit from a gt for a cobra tank. Thanks.

Which year(s) are you talking about? I can compare the part numbers in the catalogue.

03/04 Cobra to similar year GT.
Pretty sure GT float would not clear the baffle in a Cobra tank but I could be remembering it wrong.

As Rick figured, the 03-04 Cobra used a specific sending unit for the tank, so the GT unit is likely a no-go.

A new Cobra sender from Ford would be $152.80 + HST at club pricing, but they are currently on backorder. Looks like 2nd or 3rd week of July at the earliest before we would get our hands on one. Would there be any used or aftermarket ones available?
