I have a slight vibration in the wife's '05 Focus at about 120 kph.
Noticed it recently after swapping winter wheels, but doesn't feel like an imbalanced wheel. Plus, the wheels were not out of balance last year, AFAIK (about 15000kms on new tires).
Can't really feel it in the steering wheel - more prominent through the floor and seats which suggests the rear wheels and/or rear suspension (more of a harmonic pulsation).
The mystery is the way the vibration starts and stops throughout intervals of 1 second on, 1 second off.
Rear drums and bearings were serviced 2-3 years ago (within the last 40000 km).
I will probably swap front wheels to rears to see if the vibration changes.
Any other ideas?
