Is it a pain to live with?

Going for master bath / room... Kind of wanted something different but going from this to pocket to "F-It" stick to normal swing door...
Opinions? Thanks

What about a flip panel door? It's different.

I think I'd pee in my pants all the time, too much fun to open and close door.

I prefer the false sense of security that a traditional, solid hinged door provides.

Na... Nice and quiet. Other than the two times I've left the house and forgotten my keys. Had to B&E my own home twice in the last 12 years. I made really good improvements to the front door after the first time... Which I tested out the second time.

It's the internet, man. You post it, you own it. Forever.

The only trouble I see is if it's the only sliding door in the house, you're bound to faceplant into it thinking it opens normally. And then try to slide all the other doors realising they are hinged...
At least that's what would happen to me.

Not 100% what that thinking is (unless it's to help shame stupid posts or mistakes) but...
"mysql> drop database" whatever the name is on canadianwebhosting, they aren't "great" at securing CPanel... :D Internet doesn't have to be forever, it's just 0's and 1's. Then again, this happens:

Well, I think that's a possibility with me. Probably more than a possibility... I need a helmet.

I had sliding doors in the barn. The horses seemed to like them more than hinged doors. Lol
I actually think they'd be a great architectural feature in the right house.

I hope they work well cause that is the plan for the log house in the basement as I finish that area. Let me know if they are practical. They sure look cool in the right setting.

Michaela's Father has that slider separating his kitchen/dining room. It looks nice and seems solid enough. Gotta be used with the right decor though.

So cool. Never seen such sliding doors. I have recently installed sliding grill (https://slidersgrilles.com/sliding-grille-systems/), but it looks more traditional.
