What the hell kind of AC is this!?

This is a 1987, 2nd Owner car. Never been molested other than wheels. I'm 100% sure the previous owner did not install the AC on his own. The compressor, condenser and hoses look like it's from a 70's Ford all with Ford part numbers. Dash has a factory AC HVAC controls (I'm putting in the non-AC version) and the freaking P/S bracket cannot be used with proper no-AC optioned car... Check it out!? Also, the "pressure" lines all held up with screw-type collars, they weren't Canadian Tire style either, they had a tab sticking out, guessing for proper spacing.

My best guess is either Ford found some old-old stock and put in a few 87's to meet quota in time or the previous owner had it dealer installed?

I also suspect it started off as a non AC car, maybe dealer installed kit?

My thought is it was an R12 car & when they update it to 134a they used a retro fit comp & bracket etc, just an idea !

I'm going to guess dealer installed as well. Ford had kits for just about every vehicle through that era to add on A/C.
