So, thew Modfox needs some launching help. Its every way but straight. This pass was an 11.50@121.8 spinning through the first 2 gears. BTW the right lane this day was less than desirable for traction. Left was hooking better. I was thinking of adding an anti-roll bar but this is a street car and I hear there no good on the street. ONly current plans are getting a adjustable upper control arm. Car is primarily a street car and must be still enjoyable to drive but Its needs help in the traction department. Things that will be added are adjustable upper control arms and a WOT box. Suggestion welcome.
Current setup:
Rear:
QA1 8" coil overs 150 lb eibach spring
QA1 Single Adjust shocks. Set at roughly 45/55 (think 50/50)
UPR non adjust upper and lowers control arms poly bushings
31 spline axles, Ford HD carrier with 4.10 gears
15x8" Drag stars with 26x10.5 Hoosier Slicks.
Front:
04 Cobra K-member, Team-Z tube A-arms
QA1 14" Coil over 175 lbs spring
QA1 Single Adjust set at 80/20 (easy lift)
Currently my 18" street rims and tires (will get 17x 4.5 drag stars asap)
Trans is a T-56 with Centerforce DFX clutch.
This is last Saturday at the Grudge day against Corey in his H/C/I vette.
What are your 60 ft times? What tire pressure are you running? How old are your slicks? Are your slicks on a 15 inch rim or 17? Anti roll bars help and can be unhooked for the street but are a little tricky with tail pipes. You don't necessarily need adjustable arms

60 ft's are 1.6-1.7 on the 15x10.5 26" ET drags. Slicks are new this year. I am running 14-15 PSI. The pass in the picture was 14 psi. Rime are 15". Car makes great torque down low 400 ft lbs

JMO, your car has 11.20-11.30 in it already. Moar traction? Longer burnout......then let it hang!

Seems like you have a good combo right now. I'd play around with the setup as is before adding more adjustable parts.

Shouldnt need a longer burnout, tires get too greasy. I will trying baking them.
Try less tire pressure I have run mine as high as 11psi but I find the car doesn't hook any higher. I know guys in the states are running 13-14 psi but there tracks are better. I have only 380 ftlbs to the wheels and leave the line at 6500 plus rpm and run consistent 1.40 60 fts and I know I still have some work to do I need to be in the 1.3s my suspension isn't much different then what you have and I run a 26x10. I will bet lower tire pressure will help you.
I also find that doing shorter burnouts hook better in my carhttp://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj208/misenermotorsports1/Mobile%20Uploads/DSC_0058_zpslvzzqqvq.jpg (http://s273.photobucket.com/user/misenermotorsports1/media/Mobile%20Uploads/DSC_0058_zpslvzzqqvq.jpg.html)

drop the tire pressure to 10 or 11. Do a good long burnout. if they are brand new slicks, it make take one or two good burnouts to hook well. look for uneven wear on the slicks- at 14 psi, I would say the edge of the slicks are not making contact-so drop the pressure down. also, stiff sidewall slicks work better with 5 speeds.

ok, I will drop the pressure first. I will try a long burnout later (dont feel this is needed) but I will give it a shot.
