2011 GT, 8.8 rear-end. Have 3:15's want to go 3:55 (or 3:31). Clutches and all that should be fine, car has 32,000km on it. Just want to drive in, drive out with new gears. I got the tuner. I don't trust my "capability" for rear-end gears. I did my 78 Bronco once, and the thing sounded like a freight train lol.

4:10's not with the 6R80... first gear is like 4.17 :D 3:31 may be the best or leave the 3:15's and put a new torque converter in but don't want to start going this far and meh... nope to that.

So 3:15's, 3:31 or 3:55... ? No plans for boost, just basic bolt-on coyote stuff... DD in the summer, not much track just spirited driving when I can (mainly when I go to quebec lol).

With out a torque arm in the way; standard gear swap labour for a solid axle 8.8 is about $300-$350 plus fluid. Gears cost about $200 - $400/set. Add bearings and new Ford OEM outer axle seals and it will be around $ 600 all in.
