So after spending a ridiculous amount of time searching for the right SC kit for my 08 GT, I purchased a Stage 3 Department of Boost kit. Will be joining Uncle Buck, as he is in the process of putting his together. Will track the install process as I progress in case anyone else is intrested in going down this road.

Here's what the kit looks like. I opted for a black SC and no fuel management (reduced price). It's more complete than their previous offerings, so no need to source as many parts after buying. Not plug and play, but should be a fun project.

Al, we need to get Tattoos now. I have a large forehead and am thinking that's a good DOB tat spot.

Aiming for 460-470 max, as the peak tourque kicks in very early, so I want to be cautious before I get my engine forged.

Lol
Maybe T shirts

I dunno, face tats seemed to work out well for Mike Tyson. I'm not sure t shirts will send the right message. Perhaps we can start with that.

As a side note, I will be selling my Ford Racing Manifold, Ford Racing 62 mm TB (the bling bling one), a Steeda under pully and Steeda CAI and a Boos Strut Tower brace. I expect these parts to be available in about April. All parts have approx. 5,000 KM on them and look great. I made 303 RWHP and 315 RWT with these parts along from stock plus a tune. Will need to detail out pricing soon, when I remove the parts and offocally post.

Feel happy I found the right solution (thank you Al) that wasn't ridiculously expensive and is down-stream upgradable with any GT500 or compatible blower and support parts. The USD also made this decision a liitle easier, as any roots or twin screw solution was in the
"$8000 taxes in" CDN range before install. AT $5K all in, I'm a happier camper. Plus this will force me to self-install and learn more about the car.

Update on my D.O.B Supercharger install folks. I have been way too busy with work to install myself, so..... I brought the vehicle to DaSilva and left it in their very capable hands. I did carry the boxes from my garage to my car, so I think that counts as a partial installation by me. Dyno day is tomorrow and I will share the results once they are done. Will miss track day dammit! But will be at the next one. Have fun if you are going.

Need pics and dyno vid wouldn't hurt

I will be there live for the dyno run and do a vid plus share the sheet. This is more exciting than my wife going into labour!

Mark you left your car in capable hands. It will soon be time to update the RWHP in your signature!

Thanks guys. I'll be happy with 470 or so. My engine is not built, so I'd rather stay more conservative. That said, I will leave the rwhp tuning to the very capable Matt. I know they will do a great job.

Department of Boost kit installed by Dasilva! Added a JLT Carbon CAI, kept my headers, and cams. And now waiting for the dyno tune on Monday. Suspense is killing me!
Amyhow, here's a poor quality cell pic of the M122 on a 4.6.

Ok first dyno tune yeilded 474 rwhp and 443 rwt on stale winter gas. Matt is re working on Tuesday and expects close to 500 with fresh 94 octane. Car pulls like a plane taking off. Fun fun fun!
It's making some serious jam

And the dyno sheet. Nice and fat low end torque

It will flat out blow your mind on the first drive.

Ya I'm happy with this. At 10 lbs boost, and conservative timing, I should be good to have fun and not melt pistons. Interesting that an M117 @ 10 lbs. on a 4.6 3V seems to make more than it did on a 5.4. Cool kit.

Great to see it's up and running and with great numbers. Can't wait to see it in person.
Your car is 1 of 1 in Ontario and only 1 of 2 in Canada as far as I know.
