2010 Fusion Intermittant no start.

My dad has this 2010 Fusion, V6 AWD Sport. Twice in the last week he has gone to start it and it will turn over but seems like it is getting no fuel.

If he leaves it for a half hour it will start and runs like there aren't any issues. Had it checked for codes but nothing came up.

Unfortunately he is 88 and partially deaf, so he couldn't hear if the fuel pump was running.

Any TSB's or known issues?

Saw online TSB on the 4cyl cars for a similar problem, updated ground strap is said to cure them. Several posts regarding same issue with the V6 but non with a solution. Regardless, would confirm battery condition + clean all connections including grounds and see if anything changes.

Had similar symptoms with my F150. Turned out to be the ignition switch. Sometimes if I didn't have the key 100% in, it would turn but would not read the chip so the truck would spin over but no joy.
