This was pulled off another site :
The airbag recall was just updated yesterday to include all Ford Mustang V6 & GT cars from 2005-2008. Go to owner.ford.com (http://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fowner.ford.com%2F&h=eAQHaW1b3&enc=AZNf-TMEfFZAkodVG5UnwIE9j-QPcv42iQX6hQQ04aUPSON5vf0ehEzWuCe4uMjoJaT9WlBzEP-SUC5SO0G7dSnfiyXFmn3_XOI-F4n3t8wq1msb1Kb73D3oejNQmc2wyPiSARwy3CG_N71ebPQZsf tVLyr3AeAsopthEwQOUcku1A&s=1) to check your vin #.

my paerents heard this on the news and told me,
I just looked up my VIN and it shows I am included
The cars in storage so I wont be doing anything until spring, but I have a question to do with aftermarket parts and modifications.
I put an '13 gt500 steering wheel in my car and to get cruise control working and steering wheel controls for my radio I needed to change the end on the harness.
Do you think it will be an issue to bring it in like this? It will not effect the changing or operation of the air bag at all, but I still worry?

I would think, if the plug that goes into the bag itself is the same as yours came with stock, should be ok.

Parts won't be available en masse for a while yet, they are concentrating on doing the cars located in year-round high temp areas. Might be 3rd quarter this year before enough are available.
My 07 is involved in this campaign, so as soon as I see any more about the parts coming available, I will pass it along.
cheers

I should have waited until I got to work this morning before commenting on the status of the parts ... lots available now, but Canadian dealers are limited to ordering 2 to 6 pieces per week, depending on their parts sales volume. So anyone looking to get this done should be able to get in to your local dealer and have it handled.
cheers

My '04 B3000 is also on the recall list. Can I have them take out the re-called air bag and not put anything back in it's place?

Looks like I may need a recall, but is this for cars in the USA or does this apply to Canadian made vehicle as well?
