T56 guys - are you using Amsoil and which one?

I cannot seem to find a clear answer on which Amsoil fluid to use in my T56 transmission in my Camaro. Lots of debate online.

I was wondering if you 03-04 cobra guys with the T56 could tell me which Amsoil fluid you use?

ATF? MTF? Synchromesh?

I'm literally running the cheapest Dex 3 red ATF in my T56, its what most of my friends run in theirs, no issues. If you wanna be fancy go with the Synchromesh as GM recommends, but like, I don't think its going to make a difference.

You will not have an issue with either Amsoil Signature Series ATF or Amsoil Synchromesh. It is pretty much a 50/50 split between the two on what everyone uses. I would go with the Synchromesh, you may get a slight notchy feel on cold starts but it will go away after 5-10 minutes. You can PM me for pricing.

I run Amsoil Syncromesh in my own + almost all the Cobras that are serviced here.
My second choice would be non synthetic ATF.
