Its amazing how things have changed and how some stayed the same. In the 30's Ford's flat head v8 produced around 85hp, a big deal back then. But for the average grocery getter this didn't change much into modern times holding at around 90 - 130hp. Take away the boost on many modern cars and you're back down to those old numbers. Horsepower numbers in the last twenty years have been impressive, especially the non boosted cars. Looking forward the rest of this story.
