Traffic due to construction held us up in Montreal for a good bit of time but oddly found drivers way more pleasant than in Toronto, maybe bad drivers there were having an off day. LOL

Bailed on more days in St John (weather taking a dump) and jumped on the Ferry to Digby. Boarded the boat in heavy fog but it mostly cleared about half hr later. Overnight there then up to Truro via back roads (OMG are these roads twisty, large hills and 100% amazing fun with virtually zero traffic), stopped to top off the fuel tank n back on the road to Baddeck for the night. Be up in good time to do the Cabot Trail in am them headed back to the Truro for tomorrow night. Will try n update pics tomorrow night.
At about 2500kms on Rambo so far with nothing but smiles.

If you find yourself in Annapolis Royal, get the seafood chowder at the German restaurant on the main road.

It’s been 5 years and I still talk about.

Backing it up a little.
We woke up to this plus threat of heavy rain, wind and thunderstorms so we decide to bail on exploring Saint John more and jumped on the Ferry to Digby. Seemed a little off getting on a boat when you could barely see 100 ft in any direction but fortunately the fog cleared and it was smooooth sailing.

I'd be so screwed without GPS, Rambo had my back. :)

Smooth trip across the Bay of Fundy and arrived in Digby ahead of schedule thanks to the fog lifting. Worth noting, every single crew member we interacted with went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

Lil place we tried for dinner. If your ever in Digby do yourself a solid and check this place out. Food was amazing, owner and staff are an absolute home run.

Couple shots from down by the docks. Found it interesting how the ship yard pulls em out of the water with cart / winch combo to dry dock for work. Also, no trip is complete without a co pilot.

Overnight in Digby then back on the road to Truro (couple shots of the twisty backroads we took) then off to Baddeck to stage for today trip around the Cabot trail. At the main warf in town, RCMP / Police vessel was worth a second look.

Yup, lots of Tim's stops. Oddly enough, coffee at Tim's in both eastern provinces has been excellent (no they didn't pay me to say that).

So you don't have to look it up, Baddeck is located close to the start point of the Cabot Trail hwy, great place to stage no matter which way your doing the drive.
