I am in the east end of GTA does anyone have a recommendation to take my 66 for a wheel aliment?
New to the GTA and looking for someone who can work on my 66, that knows classic cars, I can do most things myself but something just need more experience than my backyard mechanics.

ZR is the one that you want to talk to. Send him a pm to arrange an appointment.

Welcome to TMC. It’s good to see another classic around. ZR is your guy for mechanicals.
If he can’t help you on the alignment, shoot me a PM. I have a good contact but you’ll need to travel about an hour north of the city.

Yes, the member ZR is the one to contact in the GTA for car work. Not sure if he has the equipment for alignments though. I've taken my 88 mustang to Level Auto near Kingston rd and Birchmount and had good luck.

Hi,
Sorry can't help you with the alignment but Uncle Buck (Al) can hook you up with an alignment shop that does. Anything else except body n paint we do.

i recently had my alignment done at KHF Motors, at 82 green lane in thornhill. they seemed very knowledgeable and efficient.

^^ this
I took my 66 to a shop I’ve used for my daily drivers.
They got it right after 5 hours and billed me by the hour.
Since that experience, I’ve been fussy where my classics go.
I’m now using an old timer with an ancient Hunter alignment rack. It never takes too long and the cars drive well.

Just curious as to why?
They don't have the experience on how to adjust or what to adjust to, much more to it than setting to what a machine tells you.
