If it’s related to popular forum habits it may be partially my fault, as when I select TMC on my phone it always comes up with the forums listed in a strange blue screen instead of the home page, and there is no “new posts” listing there. I always select “in memoriam” because it’s the first one available, after which it brings me to the normal forum and I navigate from there…..I honestly thought it was some setting on my phone so I just ignored it, but maybe that’s what it defaults to?

That blue screen you are seeing is likely the default mobile style - the site determines you're on a mobile device. If you bookmark the site using this link - https://www.torontomustangclub.ca/forums/forum.php and then select the style you like on the bottom left of the main page, you shouldn't have to deal with the default mobile style any longer.
