check dryer and furnace vents. make sure any drains are clear. keep your evestrough and downspouts clear of leaves.

as long as you have an actual AC unit and not one of then new heatpumps. if its a heat pump then your outdoor unit needs to stay uncovered and be cleared of snow periodically.
