I got Ol Paint back from the good doctors ZR and Zippy and he’s running like a thoroughbred. I can’t wait for track day when he can stretch his legs a little bit. One of the things that got done was a spark plug change, and what ZR found while removing the old ones even surprised him. On two of the plugs, the centre electrode came out while removing the spark plug boot. ZR said he had never seen that before and was surprised there was no misfiring.

Odd enough to see one center electrode broken inside the porcelain but two on the same engine and still running fine, one for the books.
