I've got a Bose Cinemate 1 SR that stopped working.
I've repaired electronics in the past by looking for physical damage, like burnt caps, overheated solder joints etc.
I thoroughly inspected, each board and reseated all connections. I tested the remote and the IR is transmitting. I did some online searches and there's a few known issues, but they require diagnosis beyond my ability.
So, if there's anyone handy with electronics diagnosis and repair, come get it. I suspect it needs a chip replaced. When it works it's pretty good.
This is one of those things I have a hard time sending to landfill. I suspect it needs $5 of parts at most and an hour or two of skill.
