Anyone done it?
I have energy suspension poly isolators in there now and the back sits a little too high.
I figured I could pull them and I have some reinforced neoprene sheets I could put in their place to stop any squeaking.
Any experience with this? Good or bad?

You can pull them and leave nothing there, spray some lube on the mounts if they squeak, or just coat the spring with anti-seize or similar.
They seem to make out just fine with nothing.

Great! Thanks guys.
Looks like the next mod after I get back from Carlisle.
My wife will be happy, this one's free!

I would leave them in and cut off a 1/2 coil or less with a grinder myself
