So I have been trying to figure out if I can put my daughters car seat front facing in my 93 notch. Does anyone know if this can be done safely? I've tried doing a google search and looking through some of the different mustang forums, but haven't been able to find anything. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me.

front facing in the rear seat? what kind of seat - infant bucket, baby seat, kid booster?

I had both front and rear facing in my 96 when my daughter was little. Use the seat belt to secure the seat(pull it all the way out till it ratchets then tighten as much as possible) then attach the the top strap to a anchor on the package shelf (you will probably have to add the anchor to the shelf). If it's just a bucket with a base then you won't need the top strap yet. This is for the rear seat only.

Looking to do front facing in the rear seat using a baby seat. After doing a little more looking around online I found that Ford has an anchor kit for the older mustangs. So I'm going to take a look into it tomorrow.

yup, should work fine with the regular belt and anchor kit. you will likely need to move the front passenger seat forward so having a passenger up front may be a challenge.

Super easy to install on the rear shelf. I did mine in my notch. Pick a spot and stick a screwdriver through the carpet. The kit comes with everything you need. I got two as I have two kids who were in those seats at the same time.

^Some kits Ford does charge for, some kits Stealerships charge for. Yours should have been free too.
