Hello all
New Mustang owner a couple years ago and have been creeping on you all for the past year. Sorry, but good info from everyone on multiple topics.
I have a '00 GT and I met ZR and Zippy last year after a miss hap with my engine. Being a past Ford employee (early '90's) and present diesel mechanic I thought sure i can do heads and cams install myself. Well lets just say that didn't go as planned.
At present Beaster is back at ZR's for a heart transplant.

Welcome to the TMC. Your ride is in great hands with ZR and Zippy.
Starting point, freshly rebuilt 2v from Beatty and Woods.
Along with Pro Max heads and cams, good set of rods n forged pistons. As per the norm, OE Ford studs and gaskets will seal up the headers.
New set of BBK long tubes fit a bunch nicer vs the previous mid length pipes. Good progress yesterday, should be ready to slide into place sometime today.

We really hope you enjoy it! Came out great in my opinion. Cleaned up as many bolts and brackets as we could without going mega OCD on it. Gave it a bubble bath and cleaned up the interior and off it went.
I can't believe how well it runs with around 2+ year old gas in it. Be interested to see how it sounds once some more timing is added and the car dialed in from a tuning POV. Sounds great out the back!

Huge smile on Dan's face as he drove off. Said he put a few miles on in the afternoon taking a drive with his bride.

It’s like wine; gets better with age. Seriously, I think there is something to this with modern gas. I dumped my 2 year old gas from RedSN into the truck, and got the best mileage I’ve ever gotten out of the truck.

Thank you for your kind words.
Yes Beaster runs good for all that has been done and not tuned, just turn and key and go.
I did put a few miles on it Saturday. Ounce I returned home with it the 'bride' said she wanted to go for coffee. So I headed to the local Timmie and was told nope I want one from Orangeville. Who was I to say no
But I was given a shopping list for the off season to help improve the ride even more. Looking forward to next spring.
A huge thanks to ZR and Zippy for helping bring her back to life for me to enjoy, oh ok the wife to enjoy as well. :clap2:
