Hope everyone had a good time this past season, know Ross n I did. Feel we have things running pretty smooth but love to hear any suggestions to further improve it for next year. Plan is to have a spring / fall day again next year, who is interested?

Looked on Google maps for distance from me in Scarb, Shannonville 1:48 compared to TMP at 1:33.

just got the brace off Tuesday afternoon, just in time for wing night... I could have showed you if you came??? lol

still limited range of motion but seems to be getting better each passing week, sometimes still do something out of habit though that it's not ready for and the colourful language starts to fly!! :)

They make nice rims. There are a lot of group buys for them. I was tempted a few times. I still have an extra set of rims at home. Perhaps I should sell them as they are a perfect fitment for Mustangs.

I still have my Vossen's hybrid forged from my Infiniti still. But they are 20X9.5 for the front and 20X10.5 for the rears. I will try them on the Lexus on the weekend as they are the same bolt pattern and offsets.

Weather has been a roller coaster with then forecasting rain virtually 100% all day as of yesterday but this am things are changing in our favor. As those that have attended in the past know, can be pouring rain in the city and the bunch of us come home from the track sun burnt. Fingers crossed.

Becoming cloudy in the morning. 40 percent chance of showers in the afternoon. Risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. High 22. Humidex 25. UV index 6 or high.

The Lean Machine performed amazing! Ran strong all day. Had a few squirrelly moments, adjusting to the new power, but kept it on the track.

It was a great day!! Thank you Booth Automotive for organizing this event. A good turnout and a good variety of cars. Ol Paint ran strong all day and I felt really good behind the wheel. It was great seeing the one and only Jack Racoon. To top it off, on the way home we stopped off at Wally Par’s for a delicious sausage on a bun. You can’t ask for a better day than that.

Track day in the rearview.................in spite of rain in the forecast, only got a few drops as we were packing up to head home. Lots n lots n lots of track time had by all. Thank you to the large group that attended and a huge shout out to the TMP concession stand staff that kept us fed (fries n dog were killer good). My sincere thanks to Ross, Stephen and Katrinka for all their efforts today, you guys made it happen. Man that ZL1 of Sukis sounds like a monster out there.

Moving forward, this was a tough one, Ross and I have decided the fall date will be our last one. Registration for it is open now but unlike events in the past, number of spots available is going to be limited. Been a privilege leading the charge on this event which started back in the GTAMC years.

Had a great day even with my car randomly shutting off on the track.
Had it “fixed” for most of the afternoon until it shut off again on the last run.
Thanks Frankie for finding a problem relay in an area I would have never found in a million years.
Think one of my catalytic converters ate it too.

my son Noah and i had a memorable time at the track yesterday. well organized and loads of fun.
a huge shout out of appreciation to Rick and his helpers.
my little 4-cylinder turbo mustang surprised me both with it's speed and handling. i took it a touch easier than the last time, and didn't spin out.
unfortunately for me, this is likely my last time. i'm turning 73 next month, and in the aftermath of my accident two years ago, i'm just not physically robust enough to do this for a whole day any more. I was so wiped that Noah drove home and i slept the entire way.
Anyway, thanks again to Rick Booth and the rest of the crew.

Good morning, Happy New Year to everyone. Hope your sanity survived another day Don. ;)
Ross has been working on me since the early fall which brings me to sharing with everyone we are aiming to do one track day this year. Target is for mid to later June (likely a Thursday), of course details pending what I can arrange with TMP. Format for the day would be a copy of what we did last year. Thank you again to Stephen for agreeing to stay on board as well.

What do I need from you

- sign up early. Confirms you really do care if this continues year after year.
- we could use more volunteers to flag during the day. No specific amount of time required. An hour or so be great, a couple of sessions in a row be appreciate just as much.

I don't have anything else to share right now, more details soon as I have them.
