I have adjustable rack bushings and higher rack position is better for the MM K & arms. Windsor 302 and convertible motor mounts. Gap looks snug.

I can drop the rack but thought i'd check with more experienced hands here.

What is "minimum" clearance?

Maximum suggest minimum of 1/4", I leave at least double that.

I was afraid of that. I have 1/8 right now with rack adjusted to highest setting.

IMHO...........too close.

yep I'll pull and adjust to center. Kind of a shame to use these adjustable bushings centered.

It sure is.

soo. I was surfing the MM site, looked at urethane bushings (cheap) and then remembered my recent shop re-org. This would be the 10th or so in the last couple of months taking ever deeper dives into boxes and bins in search of "I know it's here somewhere".

I remembered a bag of bushings, unlabelled. Quick check, and not 1, not 2, but four pairs of MM Urethane rack bushings. Quick check on installation and it says the solid ajustables are required for a MM K member.

Good thing I didn't order ANOTHER set of urethane bushings.

BTW does anyone know if the MM bump steer kit can use SN95 inner tie rods in a Fox when using an SN95 rack?

I put them on and it looks like it'll work without switching to Fox inners.

Metric or SAE inners will work with any rack, just need matching bump steer kit n good to go.

what sealant is used on the PS fittings?

While I have the rack out I figured it's easier to connect the pump hoses. I gott a replace the o rings and see a red sealant used, that's not loctite red is it?

On another note, my 93 project will be getting a different PS pump and likely AN fittings. Has anyone used the MM AN conversion fittings? Seems like a tight fit to get the lines on when adding length of the fittings.

Don't think there should be any sealant on those when there are O-rings to do that job.

^^^agreed. Just need the white plastic o rings seals.

+1 on both of the above.

The MM o ring kit and a video I watched both use thread sealant but I agree the O ring should do it.
