You know I’m not pro climate propaganda.

But no legitimate country is clear cutting to make pellets. wood pellets typically are made from the left overs of current forestry production , At least in North America.

This meme just reminds me of the cartoon (might have been bugs bunny). Where they take an entire tree and Stick it into a giant pencil sharpener untill they get one toothpick.

seems ridiculous but when money is to be made you get solar farms in the far north, wind farms where there's often days of no wind, and 10's of millions spent to create green jobs that cost more than a million a head to create and pay a blue collar wage.

A good number of long term temperature monitoring stations were in remote locations 100 years ago and are now in developed areas. Urban areas are "heat islands". Some amount of temperature rise data from heat island stations will push averages higher and render modern data less useful.

This is Chicago, and a decent example of the urban heat island effect
