Special thanks to Carmen for bringing the GT40. I’ve seen this car many times at ZR’s shop, but to see it on track was something special.

A few puddles when we got there and a couple of sprinkles during the day, but for the most part the track was dry. Also, the sun was quite strong as evidenced by my sunburned neck.

Was more than happy to man the flag station this time. Just wasn’t in the card to have the car ready. Even if I had managed to get the car ready, I would not of had time to put any miles on the car before beating the snot out of it. Instead, Stephen was gracious enough to let me take Old Paint out for a few laps at the end of the day. What a car! That blower whine and the pull that comes with it is addictive.

I hadn’t seen that GT40 since it was in the shop in pieces. Nice to see it turning some laps!

Really Sorry bout messin up the track... again guys... Big Thankyou to Rick and all the volunteers , Ross, and the people that cleaned up my mess :( ... The day (weather wise ) Really came to us very well....It was especially amazing to see the Ford GT , up close and in action ( drool ) ... Thx for Fast Ed and Frankie for taking me round for few laps also ....Really cool and different perspective in other cars ... cheers !
