Hey all, it’s been a very long time since I have purchased a custom driveshaft. I used to always go to Dwight at driveline in whitby, but he has sold the business so I hear. Looking for suggestions, the wagon will make around 850-900hp once the supercharger is installed.
Any shop recommendations?
What materials do you recommend?
I’m leaning towards carbon.
I had heard same thing but last time out he was still there.
No one makes a shaft like he does.

I went through this last year for my GT and used the guys at Driveline and decided on a DOM steel driveshaft.
Aluminum was very expensive and carbon prices weren’t even an option for my build.
Unless you’re chasing time slips regularly or racing for cash I would just stick to steel.
Custom DOM tubing shaft in mine as well.........................smooooooooooooooooooo oth as silk. Had it built to replace a POS DSS alum shaft I tossed into the garbage.

Perfect I will likely go this route also.
Combined with all Spicer yokes n U joints, pretty stout piece.

Ended up getting hosed. Went to a reputable local driveline shop, made an agreed for a 3.5” diameter DOM steel shaft for $450. Went to pick it up they made a 3” DOM steel shaft and charged me $600

That’s not cool…..I’m hoping that wasn’t at Driveline?
