Greetings,

I know we have some gun owners in the club and I'm looking to you for some help. My daughter and want to take the CFSC/CRFSC (Canadian Firearms Safety Course/Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course). Would like to do it in the Caledon area but will obviously travel if we have to. Any recommendations for organizations that offer thee courses?

Thanks
Stephen

Check with some local gun clubs or shops.

Some of those guys will be or will know someone who is a licensed instructor.
Up by me they will do smaller classes more often then some of the larger places that may only run on course a year or something like that.

I prefer it that way because you get a bit more hands on for your practical portion. Which is great for new or young people getting into the sport.

Local hunt and fish clubs that have a range will probably have knowledge of any small local courses being given privately(to an invited group of people vs public where everyone can sign up for the course). Here is a listing of gun clubs in Ontario: https://www.canadagunclub.com/p/ontario-gun-clubs.html
Link to public invitation upcoming courses from the Firearms Safety Education Service:https://fseso.org/product/canadian-restricted-firearm-safety-course-crfsc/
Any organization that requires you to have a gun license should have contacts for the closest place to attend and pass a course.
Hope this gives you some new, better options.
