04 IRS e-Brake sourcing options?

I'll be needing ebrake cables for my Fox IRS project. I converted the trans tunnel brackets for SN95 cables and will be looking for 04 Cobra cables.

Is the dealer my best option for these or is there an aftermarket source for good quality cables?

Rockauto $28.14 CA per side (Wagner) on closeout.

Rockauto has the same part for bith sides. I can't remember if they are actually different per side. I'll go crawl under my other car. Does anyone know for sure?

Looking at the images for the parts at the different sites, RA looks correct, while Avatar not so much.

another look at RA finds separate parts (Wagner) for each side. Strangely both on close out but 14 for one side 28 for the other.

Done a pile of em but can't recall if different side to side but gut says both the same.

I haven't made it to the shop yet but the only difference I can think of from my chair is the clip that gets fastened to the torque box.

I did a quick inspection and don't see a difference. Going to order RA and will update this thread when parts arrive.

On another note steering rack limiters N804842-S got quoted at $6.48 each from my local dealer. Pretty spendy for a washer.

For rack limiters I just went into my local u-pic yard and grabbed some off a scrapper.

They don't check your pockets on the way out ;-)

I've got a bit of a yard sickness. Some people are hoarders, some have 12 cats. I like scrounging. Thanks for another excuse to indulge.
