View Full Version : I finally pulled the trigger
After months of reservations waiting on the G80 - I finally pulled the trigger on one of these.
22 Genesis G70 3.3T AWD, black on red.
Should be getting it in about 10 weeks. Pumped!!
It will be a step up from the Sonata N Line even though I wont have a panoramic sunroof and more rear passenger and trunk space.
I drove a G70 preproduction model and man, the thing pulls like anything, the driving dynamics are excellent not mention the quality.

Been thinking the same thing. Or a Kia Stinger: same chassis, 5 grand cheaper

Stinger's got more room, but I like the Genesis since its low production and has a bit of mystique around it.

Don't disagree with you. The Stinger is more sports oriented, the Genesis more towards luxury. To be honest, right now it's just money. 5 grand is significant.

For sure, 5k is a good chunk.
If you have a company/self employed, go through the fleet program - really good concessions out there.

Gotta ask, does that car qualify for the front end crash test ??? I thought it was mandatory on all new cars ??? just asking, were the rules changed , I know my Mustang would not pass a crash test without damage !

I am looking at the G70 as my next daily driver. Bang for your buck it is hard to beat. Decent power, all-wheel drive, and good-looking (subjective, but I like it). My commute in the winter would be easier with AWD and some Nokians :shame:
Up against the competition in its class, it is a winner. The '22 refresh made me want the G70 over the Stinger.

Yess Sir.
You would have to go through me with Head Office.

I absolutely loved it when I was driving it... but the Stinger does have a lot more room. So it all depends on what you need.

I went from an 18 Mustang GT to a 19 Camaro SS as a daily driver.
I currently drive a fast coffin...
The G70 will be a lot more spacious than I am accustomed to.

Interior space compared to a Camaro - Most definitely Sir lol
