I am far from being a GM guy, but I hope this isn’t true….[emoji15]

Wouldn’t surprise me. Electrics are a huge scam and will only make things worse, there is no question about that.

That’s bad news. Sad to hear that the end is near for the ICE.

I just don’t see the goals of 100% electric being met unless there is a big decline in prices for them. Friend just bought a Model 3 and with options it came to $87k. Wtf is that!?

Don't worry, they got these fancy bike lanes. :choke:
If we don't buy these electric cars, they won't keep producing them.

The goal is so the govt has complete control. Our current electrical grid cannot sustain large-scale ev charging, so electricity rates will skyrocket, and we will likely have rolling blackouts just like California. Further, they will tax the hell out of us since a huge, huge portion of tax revenue comes from gas sales. But don’t worry, they’re blaming it all on “man-made climate change”- which really doesn’t exist currently, but will only get worse since nobody is recycling the dead batteries, old windmills, or solar panels, they all just get piled in landfills.
I’m sure 92red will be here soon to tell me how wrong I am, lmao.

Quoted myself here because this report was just released, it’s in the U.S., but don’t think for a second they aren’t planning the same EXACT thing here……political I know, delete it if you must.

Tucked away on page 508 of the U.S. Senate’s 2,700-page, so-called “infrastructure” bill, are the plans for a national “per mile fee” pilot program. And it is exactly what it sounds like — the more you drive, the more you pay.
