July 22 Track Day Review…

What a great day and what a great event. The weather was perfect, the track was in great shape and we had a blast. Thanks to DaSilva Racing for sponsoring the event, to TMP for being great hosts, to Rick, Ross, Ron and Celeste for handling the divers meeting and flagging duties. Thanks to all that attended for making this day run as smooth as silk. I only have one picture to share:

Thank you to Joe for all his efforts making this happen. Most of all, thank you to Stephen, Ross, Ron and Celeste for doing all the heavy lifting today, you guys rock. Last but not least, thank you to everyone that attended. Ross's girlfriend was clicking pics most of the day, bet she has a bunch to post up when time allows, thanks again for being our photographer.

As usual, DaSilva Racing and the TMC put on an absolutely amazing day of well organized fun. Rick, Ross, Stephen, Celeste, Ron, cannot thank you all enough for keeping everyone safe and having fun. Big thanks for Joe for sponsoring one of those days that create great memories.

Side note, it was great to see so many familiar faces. All in all a great day!

I think the biggest improver of the day was the guy in the orange C8 vette...
He was cookin' the last couple of sessions!
Cool to see everyone get faster and faster as the day went on!

That was his first time on a track ever! He had a blast!
Proof for anyone who may be uncomfortable to try something new like lapping. You may surprise yourself how much you will have.

Yeah good point, I also noticed they were attacking the track much harder yesterday.

I think we only had 2 spinners the whole day, zero brake downs, and only the one red flag to clean up the track after a spin (grass and mud on the track)
Note to self, bring the leaf blower to next track day.... will make cleaning the track a lot faster!
