Alright TMC...
Who's got a garden hose that doesn't freaking kink everytime it moves?!?!?!?!

Old Sears Craftsman rubber hoses, keep patching all the leaks that spring up with new connectors.
I don't think the "new" craftsman are up to the standard yet. Thanks to Stanley.

We’ve got a couple of Hozelock hose reels. One with a standard 5/8” hose, and a smaller one with a 1/2” hose. The smaller one is much nicer as we find it provides more than enough volume, but the smaller hose seems to kink less.

I have several Flexon Heavy Duty hoses. Works great. A few of them are about 15 years old.

I have a couple of these 100’ Gardena things. Had them 2-3 years and the auto windup still works like a charm and it never kinks.

Do yourself a favour and make sure it's a rubber hose, not vinyl.
I agree with redo75, I have an ancient Craftsman rubber hose that will never quit.

Old school 3/4" black rubber hose. Had it for more than 20 years with zero issues. I bought it, 100 foot length, when we moved into our house. I cut it in half and put one half in the garage and the other half in the back yard. They hang on their holder all year long, even in the winter.

In a related note, does anybody have good service from hose nozzles.
After my Craftsman nozzles started to spray water everywhere, my replacements from Costco, Canadian Tire, etc all turned out to be junk.
Any names that give good service?
Thanks.

I've got one similar to this after going through several of the ones you mentioned. This one is holding up well, even after the wife ran over it with the car.

Same here, we buy replacements two at a time, lucky if that does us a summer season.

Have a similar style one on my garage hose reel. Not as convenient as a pistol-grip style, but it's bulletproof. I have not tried running over it.

Yea, I got several of the "fireman style" even a Martha Steward version. Not too happy with the choice of spray pattern.
The "revolver style" shows the pattern before you turn on the water, which I like.

I've always gotten pretty good service life out of these spray nozzles. https://www.amazon.ca/Dramm-12380-Heavy-Duty-Adjustable-Nozzle/dp/B001DGII5O/ref=pd_bxgy_2/147-2828342-4792449?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B001DGII5O&pd_rd_r=82f3584f-e9f9-40ff-a568-dfeaf3648303&pd_rd_w=Xba1M&pd_rd_wg=7ncwh&pf_rd_p=67279b87-ccd3-46cd-8df4-d8c53edf84d3&pf_rd_r=H99757DEW2TY9G1H56D0&psc=1&refRID=H99757DEW2TY9G1H56D0

Black and decker expanding hose. 3 years, no problems. Works great. Bought a expanding one at the hardware store last year and it was great until my 2 year old, Scott the destroyer, unscrewed the end and lost a piece. I'm totally sold on the expanding ones, never kink, nice and light.

I have a rubber hose that was bought for my first house warming gift from a great car friend that was I believe 30 years ago. It’s heavy but still have it , and I just cleaned out my Uncles house last year and found 2 old brass water nozzles that you twist for the flow.... they are probably 40 plus years old and work amazing !
