Beautiful car, makes me pine for my old 68 a bit (although it was a turd compared to this one). IMO a different choice of wheel style would be more suitable. I had 18" on my car, but they were a basic chunky painted 5-spoke with a polished lip that didn't look so obviously modern.
Also think that either Hagerty or Ringbrothers have some details wrong though, a 10R80 out of a Raptor (Ecoboost only) isn't going to bolt up behind a Coyote I don't believe.
Agree on wheels.
Normally look at a RB car and can't find any fault, kinda surprised.

Always liked the 67-68 Cougar. A more sophisticated look than a Mustang. I dreamed of one as a convertible, but, alas, Mercury never made one.
I always appreciate the Ring Brothers and their almost over-the-top details, but surprisingly this one is very subdued. Love it anyway, and emerald green is one of my two favourite colours.

There have been a few 67-68 Cougars modded in to soft tops, I knew of a few through the Cougar Club of America when I was an owner and member. At Carlisle in 07 there was a gorgeous one in dark green with a tan top and interior, stunning car.

Very nice car. Agree, lose the 5.0 badge. Which ever Ford designer came up with that hideous flat engine cover needs a kick in the head.
^ Can't wait to pull the engine cover off mine. Makes it look so very odd under the hood.

Two questions: are there pictures anywhere, and I wonder how much it would cost to do the conversion.

The 72 Blazer for 150k seems to be a bargain compared to the rest. If I had the coin that Lincoln would be in my garage. That thing is a work of art.

The green and tan one that comes up on Pinterest is the car I was referring to. The resto and conversion was done by a CCOA member in his home workshop in NY state. I believe he used 67-68 Mustang parts as a starting point for the top mechanism, and took it from there. No idea how many $$ he had invested in the project, I met him and the car the one time through an acquaintance in the Great Lakes chapter of the Cougar club.
